Yes, Uttero works both offline and online. Offline mode offers basic transcription using a local Whisper model. Online mode provides higher quality thanks to an advanced AI model.

Uttero supports Czech and Slovak. It can automatically adjust text according to your preferences including punctuation and formatting.

What are the system requirements?

Uttero requires macOS 14 or newer. The app works on Mac computers with Intel processors and Apple Silicon.

Yes, Uttero is free to download and use. Basic offline transcription does not require any subscription.

How do I start Uttero?

Just hold the right Command key (⌘), speak, and text will automatically be inserted where you're typing. For hands-free mode, double-click the right Command.
